The episode begins with rising tension as Preet openly states that the politician has finally revealed her true face. Rahi confronts Anupama and reminds her that she had warned her several times about Rajni but her warnings were ignored.
Rahi explains that Rajni was desperate to collect signatures which is why she carried official papers even during her son wedding. She reveals that both she and Prem had doubted Rajni intentions earlier and had tried to alert Anupama. According to Rahi Rajni cleverly manipulated the situation and managed to get the signatures without raising suspicion.
Rajni Accuses Anupama of Betrayal
Rajni shocks everyone by accusing Anupama of accepting a penthouse in return for allowing the chawl demolition. She claims that Anupama deliberately hid the truth from the residents because she wanted personal benefits.
Rajni confidently states that she was prepared for the residents mistrust and planned everything in advance. When Anupama asks her to stop creating drama Rajni counters by accusing Anupama of acting innocent.
She alleges that Anupama was in a hurry to get the penthouse and pressured her to speed up the demolition. Anupama strongly denies the accusations and clarifies that she has never taken anything from Anuj. She says that if she ever wanted a penthouse she would have sold her own house. Rajni refuses to believe her and calls her a liar.
Shah Family Grows Anxious
Meanwhile Leela asks Hasmuk about Anupama whereabouts. Hasmuk informs her that no one is answering calls including Anupama. Leela fears that Anupama might not return but Hasmuk asks her to stay calm and not panic.
Anupama Pleads for Trust at the Chawl
At the chawl Anupama asks Rahi to expose Rajni truth in front of the residents. She requests Prerna to help her prove her innocence. Prerna clearly states that Rajni cannot be trusted.
Rajni accuses Prerna of being biased due to personal anger and drags Rahi and Anupama into the argument. Anupama folds her hands and urges the chawl residents to trust her assuring them that she has never lied or betrayed them.
Parag Starts Questioning Rajni
Parag tells Rajni that if Anupama says she was unaware then she might be telling the truth. Rajni immediately shifts the focus to profits and asks Parag to ignore emotions.
Parag admits that what Rajni is doing feels wrong but Rajni coldly tells him to invest money and watch the drama silently.
